Registered Massage Therapist
Urban Retreat is currently looking for a talented and caring Registered Massage Therapist who shares our passion for client care and creating exceptional client experiences.
An integral member of the Clinic, the Massage Therapist position performs therapeutic massages and body treatments according to established protocols.
Our Massage Therapist team assess clients and prescribes treatment plans, provide information about techniques for further postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises.
Job Requirements:
- Passion for client care and hospitality.
- He/she will be a willing team player, be detail-oriented, comfortable with computer systems and be diligent with maintaining records of treatments.
- Interest in ongoing learning and education.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of various massage treatments and a natural talent for deep tissue massage.
- Registered and in good standing with the Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS);
- Completion of Post-Secondary education (Diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited school);
