Serena has over 13 years experience practicing as an RMT.
Raised in the Highlands of Cape Breton Island, Serena went on to complete a BA at Saint Francis Xavier University, then moved to Halifax to complete her Massage Therapy Diploma.
Working previously in spa and collaborative health clinics (Physiotherapy, Acupuncture, Chiropractor) has expanded her knowledge base in assessment and treatment to better adapt her style to fit each massage patient. Currently a member with the Massage Therapists’ Association of Nova Scotia.
Serena’s specialty modalities include:
– Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Experienced in both cosmetic and medical surgical post-op maintenance to decrease edema and inflammation swelling.
– Strengthening homecare. Experienced with gym and home exercises for pain management and postural correction.
